  AMERICAN LAWYERS WILL INVESTIGATE THE KING AIR’S CRASH

On the web site of the American firm “Lif Kabraser Hyman and Bernstein LLP” (one of the biggest firms which represents clients in legal processes related with the aviation), has published that American law firm represents the families of some victims who died in the accident of the government plane on 26th of February 2004, in which the president Boris Trajkovski, eight members of the delegation and the pilots died. On the web-site the families who decided to know the truth with assistance by American legal help isn’t publish. The legal team of this firm represents the clients at the trials that are led everywhere in the world, without a legal fee if the trial doesn’t go in their way. About the accident of the president’s plane, the Public prosecutor in Skopje decided that it was a crew’s fault, made in the procedure of approaching on the airport in Mostar in bad conditions.		  
     
  MONITORING ON THE ELECTIVE PARTY’S HEADQUARTERS

The EU ambassador in Macedonia, Erwan Fuere, on the European faculty in Skopje on the conference “European winter university 2006”, stated that the monitoring of the parliament election in the country will also include the elective party’s headquarters, and that that is a part of the efforts for realization of fair and democratic elections.
He stated that EU and the international partners, especially OSCE, who are main institutions for monitoring of the elections, evaluated that the next elections will be crucial and that the country should show that has capacities and determination to secure maintenance of elections according to the European standards, in order to eliminate all of the irregularities which were marked last time. Fuere announced careful and detail observing of the election’s preliminary phase, on the efforts made by every political party to attract the public, the political leaders and the municipalities.		  
     
 

VISA RELIEVE FOR THE COUNTRIES WITH EUROPEAN PASSPORTS

From the two-days meeting in Vienna by the ministers of justice and interior affairs of the country-members and candidates for membership in EU, on which for the first time Macedonia together with the ministers Meri Mladenova-Gjogjievska and Ljubomir Mihajlovski found their places, the most interesting conclusion for us was that if we fulfilled the standards and the demands with which we’ll help Europe to maintain the order, even then the visa regime for the Macedonian citizens can be relieved. According to the chief of the Mihajlovski’s cabinet, Goran Pavlovski, in the global discussion which was referred to all representatives on the meeting, it was clearly told that the visa regime towards the country-candidates for EU can be relieved only if till the end of 2006 they computerize the boarder passes and connect them in network.
In that direction, about the visa relieve will be thinking just for the countries with European passports and for countries that made larger number of agreements for readmission.

  
     
  MEDICINES ONLY WITH PRESCRIPTIONS

From the next month the drugstores won’t be allow to give medicines without a prescription. This principle will be for both state and private drugstores. Not importantly if its’ a question about the “free” medicines which are load on the sate or preparation goes privately, the pharmacist could give medicines only if the patient has the medical note. Although this obligation till now, according to the National strategy about the medicines and legal regulative, should be respect, anyway years behind the medicines have been given without a prescription.
But, the old-new decision will be activate again and because of the prescriptions’ inauguration in tree colors, which will be different according to who gave those medicines and are they with participation or bought by their own pocket.
With the blue prescriptions, which will be subscribe by the master doctor, and the green, which will be subscribe only by the specialists or sub specialists, will receive medicines that are on state’s load, while those medicaments that the patients will pay for them from their own pocket will be subscribe with white medical note.

Let us break the last European-Macedonian wall, not with hate and killings but with free Macedonian culture. We want Freedom for the European and the Macedonian culture.   “DAYS OF THE MACEDONIAN CULTURE IN AUSTRALIA”

On the occasion of the manifestation “Days of the Macedonian culture in Australia”, in the city of Wollongong, from 13th of January 2006, the world known collection of terracotta icons from the fortress in Vinica will be present. The exposition has been titled as “Macedonian Christian roots” and is follow by special catalog. Author of this exposition and the catalog is the archeologist Cone Krstevski, adviser in the Museum of Macedonia. On the opening of the exposition, with suitable speech, the director of NU Museum of Macedonia, Gordan Nikolov and the director of the Wollongong Gallery Peter O’Neil will address to the attendants. After Wollongong, the exposition will be present in Melbourne, and other presentations on this exceptional cultural treasure will follow. 25 terracotta icons which have been divided in four cycles: Old-testament topics, David’s psalms, Christological topics and Saints’ plays will be present on the exposition. Exactly 12 motives of the famous collection of the Vinica’s terracotta will be present.
As its known, all the collection counts more than 50 whole and 100 fragments that are from the VI and VII century. The exponents will be supplement by illustrative material also, respectively the photos of the excavation on the archeological locality Vinica’s fortress in the past 20 years.
This exposition has been presented in more than 25 European metropolises, as Moscow, Munich, Paris, Rome, Lisbon, Ankara, Warsaw and many others. Foe this exceptional motive inheritance, in the domestic and foreign cultural public, there is an opinion that that presents most representative cultural product, besides the icons and frescos from ours antic churches and monasteries.		  
     
  THE CEREMONY OF VEVCANI FINISHED AT THE TIME OF THE VEVCANI’S ELECTIONS

Accordind to the old tradition, all night on the other site of Vasilica till the morning, masked people were going from house to house, visiting every family in Vevcani, where the hosts gave them gifts, and the ceremony finished at the time of Vevcani’s elections. The New Year, according to the calendar, the citizens of Vevcani are welcoming it with mass carnival, which, according to them is 1.400 years old. It’s based on the heather elements with erotic content, but always has group masks with political messages.
On the big carnival scene on open air, parachutist with Macedonian politicians, coaches with donkeys for the UE entry, the Macedonian Phalange and other soldiers, specialists for the bird flu marched. The representative of EU in Macedonia, the Irishman Erwan Fuere together with the Macedonian ministries attended the Vevcani’s carnival. After the carnival, the hosts took him on traditional table on the restaurant “Domakinska Kukja” in Vevcani, where the citizens sang him many domestic and foreign songs.   ORTHODOX BELIEVERS CELEBRATE EPIPHANY DAY

Macedonian Orthodox believers celebrate Thursday the great Christian Orthodox holiday "Bogojavljenie-Vodici" (Epiphany Day).
Macedonian Orthodox believers celebrate the Epiphany day by jumping for the wooden cross into a river, in a ritual that stems from the belief in the purifying powers of water.
The central manifestation will take place under the Stone Bridge of the Vardar River, when 56 believers will jump for the wooden cross.
The person who is to catch the wooden cross cast in the Vardar River will get a television set from this year's godfather Vojo Nastevski, DVD set from co-organizer of the manifestation "Vecer", and an icon from the mayor of Centar municipality Violeta Alarova.
Skopje Mayor Trifun Kostovski will also attend the manifestation and present a gift to the winner - a golden coin of the Macedonian National Bank collection, issued in regard to the 30th anniversary of the MPC autocephaly.
The traditional cross-throwing ceremony will be staged throughout the country.

COMPUTERS, INTERNET FOR 60 HEALTH INSTITUTIONS IN MACEDONIA

Sixty health institutions in Macedonia will receive a donation of computers with ADSL-Internet connection, within the project "The Health on the Internet."
The project was realized by Makedonski Telekomunikacii A.D., Hungarian Embassy to Macedonia and Ministry of Health, which signed Thursday a Memorandum of Cooperation.
"The Memorandum is a significant for improving of the Macedonian health care, because the technical-technological promotion is a significant segment of health care reforms," said Health Minister Vlado Dimov.
Hungarian ambassador to Macedonia Ferenc Poka, said that the modernization of all institutions, especially the health care sector, is one of the key demands of the European Union.

NEUES BAUEN INTERNATIONAL 1927/2002 OPENS AT MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART

The Museum of Contemporary Art, in cooperation with the German Institute for Foreign Relations (IFA) and Belgrade Goethe Institute, will present the exhibit "Neues Bauen (New Building) - International 1927/2002" from January 19 to February 25.
German Ambassador to Macedonia Ralf Breth will open the exhibit, dedicated to the beginnings of modern architecture in 1920s. The curator, Prof. Karin Kirsch will give a lecture at the opening.
This exhibition, which in a different form toured 17 European cities from 1928-1930, was like an imaginary museum, bringing together example of modern buildings from America and Europe. Some of the most famous architects of the 20th century, Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, J.J.P. Oud and others made suggestions for this exhibition.
So the exhibition consists of 105 projects by 66 architects or groups of architects; they break down into seven thematic groups: detached houses and villas, blocks of flats and housing estates buildings for education, sport, culture and health office, commercial and industrial buildings, transport facilities and special projects city of the future.
The 23 models for the exhibition were made by the Institute of Presentation and Design at Stuttgart University, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Knoll. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with 216 pages, 133 illustrations and essays by Karin Kirsch, Jean-Louis Cohen and Manfred Sack.
