VRANISKOVSKI IS OF NO
SIGNIFICANCE TO MACEDONIA
“I’m deeply assured that giving an abolition to a person which guilt and
responsibility are proved in a legal procedure would have final negative
consequences and for the integrity of the basic principals to those who
repose secular states, in which the ruling of the law and autonomy of the
jurisdiction are the highest priorities”, is said by the president Branko
Crvenkovski in the answer of the letter form the Serbian patriarch Pavle, in
which is asked from the chief of the Macedonian state to amnesty Zoran
Vraniskovski, as a precondition for continuing of the dialog between SOC and
MOC.
“In relation to the shown interest from your site to the person Zoran
Vraniskovski, I would like to state you some things of meaning with full and
right understanding of the concrete case. Namely because of founded doubt
that he made criminal act, suppression, there was a legal procedure against
this person in front of the Elementary court in Veles, and was judged one
year in prison. According to the deductive proofs, in the period of the
legal procedure was confirmed that Vraniskovski did the criminal act,
whereupon he defalcated bigger sum of money previously donated to the local
eparchy of MOC”, Crvenkovski stated.
According to the Law, Crvenovski points out that the president of RM can
give an amnesty without leading a procedure enjoined by the law only when
it’s in interest for the state or when special occasions that are related to
the person and to the criminal act and when they are pointing out that that
is justifiable.
“According to the stated, it is absolutely clear that in this case it’s not
a question of a person which proceedings have a special meaning for RM, but
on the contrary it’s a matter of illegal criminal acts and corruptive
behavior, on which we should contradict in the interest of the democratic
development and European perspective of our states” the chief of the state,
stated.
“In principle, I support the decision of the Holly prelate meeting of SOC
for which you inform me, to continue the dialog with your spiritual brothers
from MOC and through conversation, to understand yourself, of course, if on
that way a preconditions will not be set that are not related with the
essentiality of the discussion”, Crvenkovski estimates in the answer to the
head of SOC. |
